Hoppin Bobbin Closed 2/28/17 reopen on 3/1
CLOSED ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH.
While we spent the day today, cleaning and trying to make repairs, we will need Tuesday to do some more clean up. We are currently dealing with a destroyed front desk, walls that have been caved in (even into the batik room) and glass everywhere. If you come past the shop, you will see that we have lost our front windows and the front door is also gone. That complete side of the shop has had to be boarded up.
So, on Wednesday,(March 1st) we will be OPEN. You can use the other front entrance, next to the classroom, and of course there is always parking in the rear of the building with the rear entrance. It will take us a couple of weeks to get back to normal but all of these things are already in process. So, in the mean time, we will have a "new look", that is not really us, but we will still be open for business. Please bear with us, while we go through all of the steps of repairing everything to be back to normal.
We will definitely be ready for our Shop Hop starting on Friday! While we won't be at our best, we will have a smile on our face and quite the story to tell!
And all I can say at this point is, it really is NOT a good idea to drink and drive. I am so thankful that this happened in the wee hours of the morning and that none of us were standing behind the cutting table or front desk. I can deal with the damage, but I would have been devastated to have lost one of my girls. Even in this disaster, I am still incredibly blessed. I hope all of you are safe and stay that way.
